There are many traditional recipes for the preparation of dishes that originate from the area of Stara planina, and we have done our best to collect the ones that have been prepared most often in ancient times and also are commonly being prepared today.
Today’s specialty is Lenjivka, a pie that is ideal for housewives who do not have time to make homemade pie crusts 🙂 It is being prepared by kneading the dough, which should then be divided into small noodles, in the middle of each noodle there should be a mixture made of eggs and white cheese put and in the end – the baking. It’s just as delicious as pies made with homemade crust pies, and it’s relatively easy to prepare.
Serve warm with yogurt or sour milk.
