In order to get better acquainted with the culture and tradition of the inhabitants of Stara planina, we have taken food that is traditionally prepared in this area as a starting point. Many recipes come from this area and they are practically part of the cultural heritage of the area.
One of those dishes, which is characteristic for the narrow area of Stara Planina, is kačamak. This dish is made from flour and water, so it is prepared almost daily because of its simplicity.
Kačamak is served with prženo or sour milk 🙂
